As you all know Hard Haunted Mansion was this past saturday 11/3/12. Electric youth supremacy was there to take pictures and give you all the Hard recap.
First we have none other than J. Phlip which you all may know from an article we did in October. Although she was the first one on at the discotheque stage she had a crazy show. J she puts a deep vibe to her sets as well as amazing track lists and flawless transitions. Phlip trows a great twist of techno to a deep atmosphere which is so incredible, huge props for this girl! Heres a mixtape she did for hard.
Soundcloud sensation Bauuer hit the night off with hit after hit playing most of his signature tracks. This guy is only 23 and damn he puts one damn good show, heavy bass lines, 808s, and that crazy trap sub are sure to keep u dancing all night. Check this guy out if you don't know about him already!
Jack Beats are two djs/ producers out of the UK who are known for their filthy fidget house bass lines. I was glad to hear most their new songs from their new Careless EP as well as some throwbacks. These guys amaze me time and time again, great set! Here is one of their mixes.
I was very disappointed when I heard Crookers would not be playing together at Hard Haunted Mansion. Even though bot is no longer a part of Crookers, Phra left me speechless with one banger after another, killer set! I can't believe this was my first time seeing Crookers, unfortunately they were'nt together. check this awesome mix tape Phra did right after announcing their split (Phra will remain Crookers BTW).
Although Brodinski didn't play, the new prince of techno Mr. Gesaffelstein did the job just right Headlining the Discotheque stage at Hard. Gesaffelstein is a true genius when it comes down to producing and mixing, the way he puts pauses in his songs are exactly the way he mixes. His set was insane, heres a set he did at Bestival in the UK check it.
(This is the only picture not taken at Hard it was actually taken at voyeur the week before)
.
Last but definitely not least the French electro legends Justice finished the night off beyond my expectations. These two had a crazy live set mixing in many songs and bringing them back alot like daft punks sets (this is maily because their setups are similar concepts). They played alot of classics like D.A.N.C.E, We Are Your Friends, Waters Of Nazareth, and DVNO just to name a few. This set definitely made my night, awesome set! Heres a set they did on sirius XM.
