Techno is a highly misunderstood word, if you don't know much about genres within electronic music you might mistake it for what is house music. This is in fact not house the only similarities are the 4 on the floor kick drum that changes from time to tie within techno and is in fact not always the same driving drum. Techno is hard to explain since it spits into many sub genres but it has a great sense of analog feel to it. The dark deep modular-analog soundscapes make you wan't to come back for more. This post is an ode to one of those hard working artists that always seems to set the bar higher and higher, Mr. David Carretta.
